September is childhood cancer awareness month! Please join our efforts to raise awareness and research funds for childhood cancer by pounding the pavement in the inaugural Chase After a Cure Virtual Road Chase!Complete your Virtual Road Chase in your town, on the day(s) of your choosing during the month of September. Once you have completed your race, proudly put on your medal, take a picture, and help spread the word about childhood cancer!

Do You Need Even More Motivation? 

-Chase for the Top 5K Spot- Complete either an entire 5K in one session and submit your time for ranking- Simply email a picture of your GPS watch or Running app showing that you completed your distance in a single session. Participants in the Team Challenge, 5K, ½, or Full Marathon are eligible to submit their top 5K time.-Chase till the End- Complete your race and wear your finisher’s medal with pride! Email a picture of your GPS watch or app showing that you completed your designated distance during the month of September, and you will be entered into our prize drawing!

-Spread the Word Photo Contest- Be creative and have fun while you run! Take pictures along the way and email them to us or post them on our event page! We want to see you having fun while running for Chase After A Cure! Winner of the photo contest receives a prize!

-Team/Corporate Chase Challenge- Enter a 5-10 member team in The Virtual Road Chase. This is a great opportunity to promote healthy habits and have fun. The winning team will receive a traveling trophy to display at their business or organization for one year. Each team member is also eligible for the Chase for the Top 5K Spot challenge. Team captains will submit the total mileage completed during the month of September. The team’s total mileage will be divided by the number of team members. The highest number wins.

Your company/organization’s logo will appear on the back of the official race T-shirt. (Deadline – August 1, 2014 for inclusion on T-shirt) Your company/ organization’s name will also appear on a on the event website, and in the post-race advertisements and on Chase After a Cure website.
