Chasing Away Childhood Cancer

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month!

For those of you unaware, September is childhood cancer awareness month, “a time to honor and remember children and families affected by these rare diseases.” There is no better time to lend your support in the hopes of finding a cure and chasing childhood cancer away once and for all than during this special month. With over 15,000 children a year being diagnosed with cancer (that’s close to 40 kids a day!), the time for a cure to save our national treasure, our children, has never been greater. One way we here, at Chase After a Cure, are supporting childhood cancer awareness month this September is through the #GoGold Campaign, also known as the G9. The vision of the “Gold in September” campaign is to “Color the World gold so every child, everywhere will survive cancer,” similar to the pink in October theme used for Breast Cancer awareness. In order to overcome childhood cancer, the world must be aware of the reality of this deadly disease hurting our children every day. This September, let’s #GoGold to help give kids a fighting chance for the happy and healthy life they all deserve!
