Photos for a Cure-{Charleston SC Halloween Mini Sessions}

I’m excited to announce that I’ll be hosting a round of mini sessions in support of Chase After A Cure, which is a local non profit that raises awareness for childhood cancers and also helps with funding for research. Their main focus is on a cancer called neuroblastoma. For about a year now, I seem to keep stumbling upon these stories of kids with this particular type of cancer. I think any sort of tragedy tugs at our heart strings, but for some reason, I felt the biggest tug when I would read a new story about another child with neuroblastoma, an aggressive childhood cancer. I would follow their journeys online, pray for these strangers and wish there was something more I could do for them. I knew there was, I just wasn’t quite sure what. I wanted it to be more than just a donation. I wanted to get others involved, help raise awareness, you know, just actually feel like I was DOING something. I’ve been so blessed to figure out this photography thing and be at a point where I feel like I actually take ‘pretty pictures’, as my grandmother says:)! I like to think of it as my God given gift that it took me 30 years to figure out and I want to use it to do some real good:)!! I contacted Adam with Chase After A Cure, a local non profit that I found through google. I wasn’t quite sure if they’d be interested in working with little ole me, but we settled on Halloween mini sessions and all of the info is in the brochure below. I’m so excited to do this and work with them! I hope you’ll sign up. Cost is $100, but you can give more than that if you want. 100% of it goes to Chase after a cure and helps fund research!
Location details and times will be sent once payment received. Children should come dressed in their Halloween best! Siblings will be photographed together. Children should be old enough to sit up or do tummy time well enough to hold up their head for photos.(5 months and older). There are 5 available times beginning in the afternoon.
