In Kind Community Supporters

One of the most valuable assets in any nonprofit organization is the gift of time, resources and services. Chase After a Cure is very fortunate to have wonderful supporters who give all the above.  This support allows Chase After a Cure to further maximize its funding support to the research lab.

Printing

gsi

Printing is of the most essential services a non profit must rely on.  Bill Carl, owner of Graphically Speaking Inc., has generously provided all printing for CAAC in the form of flyers, brochures, posters, mailings, and programs.  Almost every printed item you see for CAAC has been provided IN KIND by Graphically Speaking, Inc.

Office Space

Corner&CAAC

Last April, a very special community partner, Cornerstone Wealth and Tax Advisory Group, generously donated much needed office space to Chase After a Cure. It is with this space we are able to work tirelessly to raise funds for the research lab without any rental or utilities expenses.

Photography

Gala Gigi

A picture is worth more than a thousand words to Chase After a Cure…they are priceless!  Events in Focus Photography has provided fabulous gala photos for us and our guests to enjoy for the past six years.  Their donated photography provides CAAC the opportunity to showcase and capture our events. Clifford Pate is another magnificent photographer who has photographed many other CAAC events such as Whiskey’s of the World, Hole Lot of Fun, and Memories at the Mansion.  It is because of their support we are able to give the cost of photography to the research lab.

Graphic Design

Thanks to various graphic designers, CAAC has been able to obtain amazing poster designs, save the dates, flyers, and social media design. Thanks to IN KIND support. Thanks to this year’s Gala poster designer, Caroline Ward of Pink Bicycle Creative. We are also extremely thankful for Mike Duckworth, Rachel Battleson of Print Candy design, Julia Evans, and Mills Goettee.

Video Presentations

Action

CAAC has had videos directed, produced, and edited by very talented videographers. Last year, Troy Carlton produced an amazing video that put the entire organization and its work into perspective from a childhood cancer parent’s perspective. In 2012, Witt Lacy of Wingman Media group captivated the audience with a survivor’s perspective and in 2011, Sarah Jones of All Over It produced our first video.  We are so thankful for these amazing productions and the message they were able to all convey about childhood cancer.

Event Design/Rentals

Event DRS and AV Connections have been huge supporters of the gala for many years.  Event rentals, along with lighting and design is one of the most important and most expensive aspects of this event.  Event DRS has provided furniture, tables, linens, decorations, as well as plates and serving dishes.  The lighting, projection and audio-visual is provided thanks to AV Connections. CAAC has also been fortunate to receive various décor items from IES productions, JMC Charleston, Fox Events, Flowertown Garden Center and Charleston Flower Market.  In addition, Icebox Innovative Bar Services has crafted delicious signature drinks for our event attendees to enjoy.EventDRS-260x215

Website

Site Crew

The CAAC website is donated 100% by Sandy Meier of The Site Crew.  Sandy created our website 6 year ago and works tirelessly on maintaining this site and assuring it is always up to date. We are extremely grateful for this platform and were very excited to launch our brand new site earlier this fall.

Food and Beverage

Gala

Food is one of the key ingredients to successful events.   Thanks to Holy City Hospitality for providing support for our gala for the past 6 years.  We are very excited to help them launch two brand new restaurants at this year’s event. This year our food stations include Wasabi, Burwells, The Granary, and Epicure Catering. Other events and previous galas include: Halls Chophouse, The Macintosh, Home Team BBQ, 17 North, Boccis, Birneys BBQ, Bubbies Bakery, California Dreaming, Salthouse Catering, and Brick Lane Catering.

Auction Items

Auction items are crucial to a successful fundraiser.  Over the years, we have received hundreds of auction items that generate tens of thousands of dollars each and every year.  We would not be successful without the generosity of our community and partners. Thank you all.
