Jennifer loves to cook and bake and chose to help Chase After A Cure by using her talents by holding fundraisers this past July and this November. She attended Stratford University in Virginia for a degree in culinary arts before deciding to stay home to care for her two children. Jen is thrilled to be combining the two things she loves, baking and helping others.

Jen’s family has been touched by cancer many times through a friend that lost their fight at the age of 42 and also, Jen’s father who is a cancer survivor. She is thankful that the surgery and medical attention he received saved his life and wanted to contribute to the research that is necessary. Jen says, ” My children are my life. I can’t imagine the pain that a parent feels when they are told their child has cancer. I am honored to do whatever small part I can to contribute in finding a cure for childhood cancer”
