CAAC Welcomes New Volunteer Coordinator, Katie Sennhenn

About Katie:

I am a two-time childhood cancer survivor. I had eye cancer when I was 6 months old and bone cancer when I was 9 years old. I am now 17 years cancer free. I have been volunteering with Chase After A Cure since the summer of 2014 and am proud to now move into the Volunteer Coordinator position. I have a passion for raising awareness for childhood cancer and hope that someday there will be a cure. Over the last 10 years, I have worked and volunteered for other organizations specific to the needs of families with children with cancer. I am a proud military wife and am new to the Charleston area and I take my passion for finding a cure with me each time we are relocated.
