Cancer in the Media
How do cancer patients and their families feel about cancer being portrayed in the media? Whether in books or on the big screen there have been books and movies like “A Walk to Remember” and more recently, “The Fault in Our Stars” both have a love story woven in the story line. Do you feel these books and movies are a positive or negative representation of the cancer struggle? Have you allowed your children to watch these movies?
