The Battle of the Palmetto State: Touchdown Fan Challenge

The Clemson Chapter of Uplifting Athletes is looking to turn touchdowns into rare disease research dollars.  In order to support the Tigers’ chosen rare disease, neuroblastoma, the Clemson Chapter is holding a Touchdown Pledge Drive on November 29.  For the home game at Memorial Stadium against heated in-state rival South Carolina, each touchdown the Tigers score will support neuroblastoma research, specifically, Chase After A Cure.  Fans can support the football student-athlete led Clemson Chapter by making a donation through the Tigers’ online Touchdown Pledge Drive site.  The Clemson Chapter formed in early 2014 and the student-athlete leadership chose neuroblastoma to support a member of the Tigers’ athletic staff whose child is diagnosed with the rare disease.  This Touchdown Pledge Drive will be the first event the Clemson Chapter will hold to raise awareness and research funds for its chosen rare disease.  Uplifting Athletes is a national non-profit organization aligning college football with rare diseases and raising them as a national priority through outreach, research, education and advocacy.  Each of the 25 student-athlete led chapters nationwide raises research funds and brings awareness to their chosen rare disease through a Lift For Life fundraiser.  PLEDGE NOW
